LAST WORDS...

Resim
For last time, hello guys! I'm a little bit sad right now to write my final post. Actually, it is kinda weird me being sad because I'm not dying and if I and especially you guys want me to write, I'll do it. Okay, okay, no more drama! I just feel I gotta say something to you at this post. When I first started creating this blog thanks to my teacher, I had doubts like “what if I cannot make it right?” , “i am not sure if it is going to contribute to my education enough?”, “ do I have to spend so much time on this?”... With time all this thoughts has gone. Our teacher Gökçe Kurt’s teaching style has always been pretty clear and effective.  In this century every student uses technology. As a teacher our mission is not block them, instead make them use technology in an effective way. The best way to achieve it is to learn how to use technology and use it before trying to teach them. Thanks to her approach throughout this course I have learned a lot of new ways and tools to

RSS Feedreader

Resim
Hello guys! Have I talked to you about RSS before? I guess no. Let's begin! First of all, what is RSS? RSS (Rich Site Summary) is  a format for delivering regularly changing web content . Many news-related sites, weblogs and other online publishers syndicate their content as an  RSS Feed  to whoever wants it.  RSS solves a problem for people who regularly use the web. It allows you to  easily stay informed  by retrieving the latest content from the sites you are interested in. You  save time  by not needing to visit each site individually. You  ensure your privacy , by not needing to join each site's email newsletter. The number of  sites offering RSS feeds  is growing rapidly and includes big names like  Yahoo News . You may get a page that asks if you want to add the feed to your feed reader. Yep, you do. Here’s a list of places you can find feed readers to install. Lifehacker has a  list of good feed readers  (skip to step 2 if you haven’t used Google Reader)

Digital Storytelling

Resim
Hi! What's up, guys? I'm veeerryyyyy fine because I'm coming from a great project again! Me and my close friend Serap have made a digital storytelling project on Animoto . We quickly select our topic: how to bake a cake! Firstly, we find a chocolate cake recipe and pictures that are relevant with it. We write the recipe and add the pictures under it. I have to say that I find Animoto very very beneficial and easy. I wish I saw it before! Lastly, we add our audio voices but my laptop makes our noise obtuse. However, we find a solution! When recording the audio, we put on a headphone to my laptop, so it be okay! You can visit Serap's blog, it is so nice!  https://languagecalls.blogspot.com/ If you want to listen our recipe, please click the link below! https://animoto.com/play/pzjrPLyThVb2g7ptBQZvrg *We use the page  https://www.wikihow.com/Bake-a-Cake  for the recipe.* Have a nice day!
