Teaching with Technology
I think technology is the heart of teaching in this century. Teachers are
finally accustomed to use technology tools in teaching and everything gets
easier. I'm so happy for that. Thank God! You know, If my positive opinions about
teaching with technology were a person, he/she would definitely beat my
negative ones. I'm very clear about that. 
We cannot deny
the fact that technology becomes a must in teaching. It has so many
advantages. For instance; it makes a good atmosphere in the class and enables
an intended classroom management because students want to attend the lesson.
Moreover, it is a big time-saver for teachers. Instead of writing examples on
the blackboard etc., they simply reflect them to it. Teachers can open up a
video during the class to reinforce teaching. So, the boring atmosphere of the
class is gone. Plus, it enables to access other people's opinions about
different cases all around the world and broadens the students' mind.
When
we come to the disadvantages of teaching with technology, I can just say that
in today's world, we can access inappropriate things as we do appropriate ones
as. So, teachers should be careful about surfing the Net during the class time
in front of the students. There is also one thing, too: We should be careful about the tools used in the class not to be distractive for students.
I'm going to be a robotic teacher because
I love using technology in that area and benefiting from the opportunities that are provided. I'll encourage my
students to be integrated with technology and also help them always be
innovative. I view myself
as an exact 21st century teacher because most of my
plans depend on the technology tools. I hope technology will even develop when
I become a teacher.
Well, I think
this post is good enough to prove pros of teaching with technology. I say it
again, we cannot think of a teaching without technology anymore, I'm sorry:( I
just suggest the teachers to be more open-minded and innovative for their
students' bright future.
